My internist recently recommended an Abdominal CT scan. He then remarked that it was the equivilant of 100 X-Rays and that there was some concern about what all this radiation could do to someone over time. Then he noted my Medicare status and remarked: "At your age it shouldn't be a problem!"

Sigh! Think I need a new internist!
