In Hawaii, we often use the 'shaka' sign as a greeting. Some of the local fish have picked up on this custom, but lacking fingers and an opposable thumb, they have compensated by using their tail, as evidenced by the lower fish in this photo. Believe they are 'working' on the 'high 5' and 'fist bump' as well, but evolution CAN be a tedious process!
