The Flying Gurnard is an occasional visitor to the Bay. Their main diet consists of bivalves, crustaceans, and the odd small fish. Their wings deploy when they are alarmed. I'm thinking that just the sight of me CAN be alarming! Heck, I get alarmed when I see myself in a mirror. Sigh!
