This critter is a Speckled Butterflyfish. Common in Tahiti, it is occasionally seen in Hawaii as well. The last one I saw locally was 20 years ago at Hanauma Bay. It feeds on coral polyps, algae and other small invertebrates. Me, I'm sticking with quarter pounders with cheese and a side of fries!

Another weekend, another Tahiti fish.
This critter is called a Sixbar Wrasse and was pretty common in all the islands we visited!
